Earl L. Wright is Chair of the Board and CEO of AMG National Trust Bank. He was a co-founder of Asset Management Group, which was a registered investment advisor representative, and provided financial counseling and investment management services with AMG since 1972. Prior to that, Mr. Wright was Treasurer and Controller for Irwin Management Company, a private investment company for a wealthy U.S. family and then was a Vice President with Shearson Hamill. He holds an MBA degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and was honored as a “Master in Profession” from his undergraduate alma mater, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He served as an academic advisor in helping start the Masters of Finance Program at the University of Denver and has authored articles for Trusts & Estates and Personal Financial Planning. Mr. Wright has been on the Doane College Board of Trustees Investment Committee since 1987 and serves as Secretary/Treasurer for the Zenon C.R. Hansen Foundation and has been involved with this foundation for 33 years. He is on the Board of Trustees for the Alliance for Choice and Education (ACE) and Board of Governors for the (THA) Tom Haggai and Associates Foundation. He is the Chair of the Graduate School Advisory Committee at the University of Colorado and is the Chair of the Endowment Committee for the University of Colorado Foundation. He is a Board member of the University of Nebraska Foundation. He is a Chairman Emeritus for the Denver Area Council, Boy Scouts of America.
